This triplex (three plunger rods) positive displacement, reciprocating plunger pump is part of the Cat Pumps X-Series , engineered for maximum life in demanding applications such as high-salinity seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO). The model 3642X features duplex stainless steel inlet and discharge manifolds, duplex stainless steel valve assemblies and internal wet-end components, solid ceramic plungers, and standard NBR (Buna-N) low-pressure seals and O-rings.
